Millions of small-scale farmers throughout Africa lack proximity to water and irrigation systems for their crops or cattle. This forces them to travel long distances to manually fetch water and carry it back to their farms. It is often women and children performing these activities resulting in injuries, low productivity and inefficient processes.
To help alleviate these constraints, boost output, and create self-reliance, Nuur Africa funds the building of water wells and irrigation systems for under-served farming communities in rural Africa.
